    You say to avoid grapefruit juice….what about grapefruit. I have been eating probably 10 -12 grapefruit a week. I went to emergency room with a 5-7 size stone. Also take 1200 mg of calcium a day as well as 1 presciption a week. I am 59 years old/female.

    Beans, tomatoes, green leafy vegetables (especially spinach) are all high in oxalates and as far as I know are not recommended for people who produce calcium oxalate stones.
